Hey lovely - a little intro, I'm Katy...
I am a huge lover of hair styling and makeup application.
I've always had such a love for colour and going all out with my appearance.
I wear a FULL face of make up every day, but hate the feel of make up sitting heavily (hence my passion for creating a weightless, flawless finish!)
I am a chameleon of colour - I get bored of my appearance quickly, so I change my hair colour/length multiple times a year.
I have always been my friends/family go-to for all things beauty.
PSA: I used to be that girl in school with bright pink Barry M Dazzle Dust and bright blue Collection 2000 glitter eyeliner.

I bring a feel-good vibe to ALL of my weddings - complete with a playlist of dancefloor cheese, which will get you into the party mood right from the start.
Now all of that aside, I will be your personal PA throughout the morning - whether you want to get up and have a dance along to the music whilst your Bridal Party get ready (I'll be your cheerleader for this)
Or if you'd prefer to have a few quiet moments whilst you're in my chair (I will be your spirit guide through this).
I am adaptable and will be the person you need me to be on your morning.

THE BACK STORY...
The Wedding MUA (formerly named Looks on Lock) began in 2018 - it had a very cliché beginning.
I was working full time in the NHS, and just felt extremely unfulfilled. I had recently turned 24 and started to have that whole...
"What am I doing with my life?
What do I actually want from life?"
...worry. So I did what every normal twenty-something with a bit of savings does. I quit my job, packed my bags and volunteered in Thailand for a month, to figure it out.
In my belongings, I had packed the tiniest makeup bag possible. It had a red MAC lipstick, mascara, foundation and a Sleek eye palette - that's it!
I travelled with a small group of girls, and towards the end of our volunteering we went on a night out, they all asked me to do their makeup, and it was at that point, one of the girls said to me (my now best friend), "Katy, you need to do this for a living!"
So I did.
As soon as I arrived home, I got my head down, created my Socials and my Brand. I asked as many people as possible to model for me to gain confidence and a portfolio...
...and that's where The Wedding MUA began.
